Our approach

Adventure feels better
with a little certainty.

We believe the vehicle is only part of what you’re choosing. You’re choosing the confidence to get out there.

THOUGHTFUL VEHICLES. OPEN CONVERSATIONS.
A quiet coastline and a van ready for an open-road journeyTHE JOURNEY STARTS BEFORE THE FIRST MILE.

The Getaway Desire outlook

Less noise.
More understanding.

Some vehicles make you picture a different kind of weekend. We think that feeling deserves a thoughtful way to buy.

Getaway Desire is a boutique road-trip vehicle dealership focused on used camper vans, capable 4×4s, and overland-equipped trucks. Our focus is the fit between a vehicle, its history, and the life you want to lead with it.

That means paying attention to the unglamorous details. Asking about the work behind a conversion. Looking at the available records. Making space for the questions that help you decide.

A clear path from here

Good questions.
Then good miles.

01

Start with your kind of trip.

The route, the people, the gear, the quiet moments in between. Tell us how you want to travel, and the search starts with what will actually work for you.

02

Look into the life before yours.

History reports help make sense of a vehicle’s past. Title events, reported damage, mileage records, and available maintenance history deserve a place in the conversation before the accessories do.

03

Understand the vehicle and the build.

Paperwork is a starting point. Ask about current condition, known issues, modification records, and an independent inspection. A great-looking setup should also make sense for the person using it.

04

Get the details in writing.

Before making a decision, review the identified vehicle, included equipment, condition information, itemized price, and agreed next steps. Take the time you need to understand them.

History matters

A report opens
the conversation.

A vehicle history report can surface important records. It cannot tell you everything about current condition, the quality of a conversion, or events that were never reported.

How to approach the details

Your vehicle file / What to ask for

Know the story.
Know what’s next.

01VIN & available history report
02Title and ownership information
03Maintenance & conversion records
04Current condition & known issues
05Recall lookup & inspection questions
06Written, itemized purchase details

Availability varies by vehicle. Ask about missing information.

Ask another question
Are the vehicles pictured currently for sale?+

The collection currently shows illustrative sourcing profiles, not individual vehicles in stock. Images are concept imagery. Send us the type of vehicle you have in mind to ask about current availability. Exact specifications, history, condition, and price are provided for an identified vehicle.

Can I review a vehicle’s history before deciding?+

Ask for the VIN, available history report, service records, and condition information for the vehicle you are considering. A history report is one part of the picture; missing records do not mean an issue never happened.

What if I am not sure which vehicle is right for me?+

Start with how you actually travel: the number of people, where you plan to sleep, the roads you expect to drive, and what you need to bring. Our Find your fit guide can help you choose a starting point for the conversation.

Can I arrange an independent inspection?+

Include your inspection request when you inquire. Inspection arrangements, access, and timing need to be confirmed for the specific vehicle before a purchase is agreed.

Do you consider a vehicle I already own?+

Use the sell or trade inquiry option to tell us about your vehicle. Include its year, make, model, mileage, modifications, and known issues. An inquiry is a request for review, not a purchase offer or guaranteed trade-in value.

How do pricing, delivery, and financing work?+

Ask for a written, itemized quote for the specific vehicle, including applicable fees, taxes, and any delivery arrangement. Financing, warranties, and delivery are not offered or guaranteed through this website; confirm any available options directly before making plans.
